Our two properties total almost six hundred acres and allow us to host a wide variety of outdoor hunting, fishing and shooting sports activities. Latest Club Update (Last Updated: 08/31/2020) To all South Cuyahoga Sportsmen’s Association Members · General and Board meetings will resume in September starting with the September 2 nd membership meeting at 7pm at the Chatham grounds and the board meeting on September 9th at Ridge Rd. We will try to hold the meetings outdoors, weather permitting. Bring chairs and masks. Food will not be served. Hunting badges will be available at the meetings, and by mail or by scheduled appointments to the NPE office in Brook Park. Go to: https://scsasportsmen.com/SCSA-Hunting-Badge-Purchase for details. Membership renewals and new members are being accepted starting in September. The board of trustees and the membership have approved new rates for new and returning members, and new life memberships. Guests are not permitted unless attending an event approved for outside participation. Please wear your Green/Yellow ID badges when on club grounds. All buildings and indoor activities at both grounds will remain closed until further notice. Rest rooms and Porto-lets will remain open. Access is limited to maintenance personnel, board members, and committee personnel. All outdoor ranges, including rifle, pistol, archery and clays are open for normal use by members and for committee events. If your event was normally held indoors, contact your committee chairman for alternate plans. Fishing is open on both properties subject to normal club guidelines. Dog training and exercise will continue on Spencer, Vandemark and Ridge Rd properties. Please refrain from dog training on the main Chatham property for the time being. Thursday Ridge Road Trap is open. Check the calendar or with your committee head for details. As always, maintain 6 ft distance from anyone that you don’t live with or quarantine with. Continue to follow the state mandated guidelines for masks, distancing and wipe down anything that you touch! Your use of the clubs facilities is at your own risk.
